Dr Winfield qualified from Nottingham Medical School in 1996. Having spent seventeen years as a Military Medical Officer, his main areas of clinical expertise are Sports and Training Injuries along with Men’s Health and Occupational Health, with an additional interest in medical education and training.

He is also the Clinical Director for the Northern Arc PCN, which encompasses Shirehampton Group Practice and Pioneer Medical Group.
